MORE STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL NEWS – 3.16.2007

March 16, 2007

3.16.2007 MORE FILM FESTIVAL NEWS!GREAT Response!  Approx 70 films have been submitted.  Our esteemed film screeners will be finishing up screening the last 25 films on Mon 3/19.  Starting that day and for the next few days we will be notifying those filmmakers whose films will be shown at the festival.  We have had some GREAT submissions!  It is VERY difficult to make decisions on what’s in.  And the truth is we only have so much time that night – but we will try and pack in as many as possible.  Film titles/names will be posted on this blog-so check back.

FESTIVAL is Fri March 30th @ 6pm in Mancini Hall of the Toms River Branch.  Count on going to 9:30 or so.

GOOD NEWS!  Each entry shown will get a “free” festival T-Shirt thanks to the Jackson and Toms River-Daybreak Kiwanis.  We will be selling T-Shirts as well – but come early as we only have a limited supply.

COMPATIBILITY CONCERNS:  We are testing out each film on the DVD in Mancini and have had some compatibility problems – we will also have a connected laptop and test on that as well.  If you are good at resolving these kinds of problems or have some good advice/suggestions – please get in touch – number below.

PORTABLE SCREEN NEEDED:  If you have one and can bring it that night – please call me 732-349-6200 X5201.

Remember to come with friends and family – we’ll have  finger foods and desserts courtesy of the OCVTS – they rock – Thanks OCVTS!!

Stayed tuned more news more often!  MrsMac
