Join the Little Egg Harbor Teen Advisory Board.  Earn Volunteer hours while having fun and making new friends. The Little Egg Harbor TAB usually meets the second Tuesday of the Month from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM unless otherwise stated. Snacks are served. 

Executive Board Meetings usually begin at 6:30 PM.

General Meetings usually begin at 7:00 PM.

The LEH Teens are sponsoring an ongoing “New Years Resolution” program. The theme for this pilot project is the environment.  Please consider making a small pledge. A pledge could be:  I promise not to litter.I promise not to waste water. Or create your own pledge. Email astinziano@oceancountylibrary.org for your pledge form or pick one up at the Little Egg Harbor Library.

11:00 AM Harry Potter Birthday Party. Grades 6-12Dress up as your favorite Harry Potter character as we celebrate the release of the book and movie. Games, crafts, and food to honor Harry will add to the festivities.

Wednesday July 25^th 2:00PM

I Spy the Return of the Osprey. This program is presented by Fred Lesser. Although it is not all that uncommon to see ospreys and their fledglings on ness these days, that was not always the case. The osprey population in New Jersey has rebounded from and all time low of about sixty pairs in the early 1970’s. Hear about the effects DDT had on the osprey population and the creative ways that wildlife biologist Pete McLain and Fred Lesser helped the ospreys return to New Jersey.Registration is required. Friday July 27^th

1:00 PM Fear Factor Friday food challenge. Do you dare to try the foods in our Fear Factor challenge? Enter and compete to win a great prize by “out eating” your opponents. The food will truly be the challenge. Thanks to the Little Egg Harbor Friends of the Library for providing an iPod as the grand prize.Participants must register and have a permission slip signed.
